The Board of Trustees of Callaway Foundation, Inc. authorized new grants during the fiscal year ended September 30, 2001, in the largest ever total net amount of $21,618,880 and disbursed during the same period $10,414,462 for various religious, educational, and charitable purposes.

During the year, grants for religious purposes amounted to $3,408,019. A total of $6,522,076 was approved for grants for educational purposes, and the balance of $11,688,785 was contributed for charitable purposes.
